Troubleshooting PC
Your XIM MATRIX is frequently being updated with new features and fixes. It is recommended that you upgrade if there is an update available before continuing troubleshooting.
Manager Disconnect Issues
If you are running XIM MATRIX Manager for PC on a standalone PC, and you are using your PC's on-board Bluetooth radio (inside and integrated into your PC's motherboard), then, ensure you have your PC's external wireless antenna connected.
Warning
Failure to connect a PC's external antenna when it's designed for one will always result in Manager disconnection issues.
MATRIX Connection Problems
If your XIM MATRIX in unable to connect to your PC, try a different cable that you are using to connect your XIM MATRIX to your PC. The cable could be faulty. Make sure the cable you are using isn't a power only cable.
Important
If your XIM MATRIX is outputting as a controller, make sure you don't have any virtual controller emulation tools (such as Steam Input or DS4Windows) installed that may conflict.
MATRIX Firmware Upgrade Problems
If you are having issues upgrading firmware on your PC, please try these troubleshooting steps:
- Reboot your PC
- Try a different USB port on your PC
- Try a different USB cable
- Disable additional anti-virus software you have running (that can incorrectly block your MATRIX)
- Boot into safe mode
- Try a different PC
