XIM Config Cloud Publishing

The XIM Config Cloud is designed to make it easy to share your Configs, Curves, and Bindings to with others.

Info

You cannot publish your Configs if you don't have a sufficient trust level.

Your Configs

To access your posts, click on the person icon.

Editing

Start with:

  • Adding a title
  • Adding a thumbnail (square aspect ratio required)
  • Selecting what your Config targets

All posts have structured content and are divided into sections.

A section is a grouping of XIM codes, text, images, and videos that all share something in common.

Important

Make sure to include important requirements to use your Config such as what firmware version you were using when you built it.

Use the Insert Section button to add a section.

From there you are can add content blocks to your section.

Previewing

At any time, you can save and preview your post.

Publishing

When you are ready to share your Config publicly, use the publish button. Your ability to publish depends on your trust level.

Trust Level

The XIM Config Cloud site uses the XIM Community Forum's identity and credential system. It also uses the community forum's trust level.

When you first create a forum account, you will have the lowest trust level. As you spend time on the forum your trust level will increase.
New User New account, you cannot publish Configs.
Basic User You are able to publish Configs, but, they will be reviewed first by a moderator.
Self Publish You've earned a high level of trust by consistently publishing quality Configs. You can publish your own changes.

Tip

You can check your current Trust Level by viewing your profile on the Community Forum.
