Troubleshooting PlayStation 4
Your XIM MATRIX is frequently being updated with new features and fixes. It is recommended that you upgrade if there is an update available before continuing troubleshooting.
Connection Problems
If your XIM MATRIX in unable to connect to your PlayStation 4, please follow these troubleshooting steps.

Please go through these troubleshooting steps in order and verify each before moving on.
1) Check Communication Method
Ensure you have configured your controller communication method (located in your PS4's settings) to be USB wired.
2) Connection Order
Please make sure you are connecting your DualShock 4 (which should be powered off) to your XIM MATRIX in Port 3 before you connect your XIM MATRIX to your PlayStation.
3) Remove Wireless Parings
Remove any wireless pairings your DualShock 4 has which may be interrupting communication with XIM MATRIX.
- Remove any pairing to your DualShock 4 through your PS4's settings
- Disconnect your DualShock 4 from your XIM MATRIX
- Press and hold the small button on the back of your DualShock 4 for at least 6 seconds to clear the pairing from your controller
- Make sure your DualShock 4 is off before trying it again with your XIM MATRIX again
4) Try Different Cable
Try a different cable that you are using to connect your DualShock 4 to your XIM MATRIX. The cable could be faulty. Make sure the cable you are using isn't a power only cable.
5) Try Different Controller
Verify the USB port on your DualSense 4 isn't faulty by trying a different controller.
