Game Settings

XIM MATRIX's Smart Translation input system must be synchronized with your game's aim settings for correctness to ensure optimal precision aim.

Game Settings support includes three different synchronization methods: Standard, Custom, and Manual.

Note

These settings apply only to Configs that output as controller.

Standard

Every game that XIM MATRIX supports has the standard game settings synchronization option.

Make sure your game:

  • Sensitivity is set to maximum
  • Follows all additional required aim settings
  • Has all other aim settings set to default

Your aiming behavior is then set through your Config.

Info

This is the default option for all new mouse and gyro Configs.

Custom

Custom is a powerful synchronization option that let's you choose your game's aim settings including:

  • Hip and ADS sensitivity
  • Per-scope sensitivity
  • Field-of-view (FOV)

This means a Config can work with different in-game aim settings without modification. This is highly beneficial for controller Configs, but, also valuable for mouse Configs that are using Simulate Analog Behavior.

Note

Custom in-game settings affects the maximum turn speed of the game.

To use, copy your game's aim settings into your Config:

Scope settings as well:

Your aiming stick deadzone is customized only though your Config (not via in-game settings):

Follow all additional required aim settings including in-game deadzone. All other aim settings should be default.

Info

This is the default option for controller Configs when custom is available for the game.

Warning

Enabling custom in-game settings on existing Configs will only work if the Config was created using required in-game settings.

Manual

The manual synchronization method is an advanced option that lets you calibrate to your particular set of in-game aim settings.

Warning

Manual reticle velocity calibration for Configs that output as controller may not produce accurate results and is thus discouraged from being used.
